71 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes in 24 hours |
At least 71 people have been killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip. Several have been injured.

Gaza's health ministry said the casualties occurred in the last 24 hours. Israeli attacks have continued. The number of deaths could further go up.
Hospital officials said most of the dead were women and children.
The Gaza government says at least 549 people have died in the past month at an aid center run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.
Al Jazeera reported that many of the victims were waiting for food aid. At least 79 people were killed in Gaza.
"In a statement, the organization called the relief centers" "death traps" "and said 39 Palestinians were still missing."
On Thursday, Israel's national security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, again took a strong stance to stop the aid program. He called for a complete halt to humanitarian aid to the valley. He called it a shame for Israel. According to him, there is no place for sympathy for the enemy in the battlefield.
Al Jazeera says Israel has suspended aid deliveries to Gaza for two days over fears of aid falling into the hands of Hamas. Israel closed the northern Gaza aid corridor on Thursday. This has blocked direct access to aid for millions of people facing famine.
Meanwhile, families gathered in Tel Aviv to demand the release of Israeli hostages held in Gaza. They called on US President Donald Trump and the Israeli government to stop the war. They alleged that they were being targeted for political reasons.
The Gaza Strip's Hamas movement attacked Israel on October 7, 2023. About 1,200 people were killed and 251 were taken hostage. Since then, Israel has launched a major offensive in Gaza. According to Gaza's health ministry, 56,259 people have been killed in Gaza since then. Another 1,32,458 people were injured.
