No evidence that Iran has removed uranium: U.S.

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said he was not aware of any intelligence that Iran had removed any of the enriched uranium.

He said this in a press conference on Thursday (June 26), according to the news agency Reuters.

On June 21, U.S. bombers attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities. "More than a dozen" "bunker-buster" "bombs weighing up to 30,000 pounds were used."

The results of this attack are being closely monitored to see how much it has delayed Iran's nuclear program.

An Iranian source told Reuters on Sunday that most of the 60 per cent highly enriched uranium had been moved to a site before the US air strike.

"" "I haven't seen or know of any intelligence that says things that were supposed to be there have been removed or taken elsewhere," "Hegseth told a news conference."

US President Donald Trump speaks during a news conference. He supported his defense minister's statement, saying it took a long time to remove something.
