Year-long celebrations begin at Ramna |
The celebration of the year 1432 of Chhayanaut has started at Ramna Batamul in the capital. According to tradition, the counting of new Bengali days begins after sunrise.
The event began after sunrise on Monday, April 14. The main message of this year's event is' My Liberation is in the Light '. This year's festival is all about love, light, people and nature.
A total of 24 songs will be performed at this year's anniversary celebrations in Ramna. There will be 9 conference songs, 12 solo songs and 3 recitals.
Chhayanaut Executive President Sarwar Ali will deliver the New Year's address. The event will conclude with the national anthem.
This time, the male artists are dressed in maroon-coloured Punjabi and white pyjamas. A white women's t-shirt.
It is to be noted that Chhayanaut, the traditional cultural organization of the country, has been organizing the year-long celebration on the occasion of Poila Baishakh at this Botmool of Ramna since 1967.
