Israel is in a state of crisis after the war with Iran

Israel is in a state of crisis after the war with Iran

Israel is currently facing a shortage of weapons and ammunition after a 12-day war with Iran. NBC News reported.

The report, citing two unnamed US administration officials, said there was a shortage of critical equipment and ammunition in Israel's arsenal.

"Citing three other officials, the report said Israel was now experiencing" "significant reductions in some critical weapons." ""

This comes at a time when a ceasefire between Israel and Iran is in effect. US President Donald Trump brokered the ceasefire with the help of Qatar. Although it is still fragile, it was effective until the report was written.

Israel has made no official comment on the issue.

The United States provides Israel with billions of dollars in military aid each year. According to NBC, the United States has actively helped Israel provide defense support and counter missiles during the Iranian attack.

On June 13, Israel launched a major military operation against Iran, accusing it of secretly running a nuclear program. "On the same day, Iran launched" "Operation True Promise-3" "against Israeli military installation.
The United States and Israel accuse Iran of pursuing a military agenda, a charge Tehran has repeatedly denied. On June 18, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grosio said the agency had no concrete evidence of Iran's active nuclear weapons program.

On June 22, the United States attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities on behalf of Israel, further escalating tensions. In response, Iran launched a missile attack on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar on Monday. Qatar and the United States say most of the missiles were intercepted mid-air and there were no casualties.

Qatar has been warned of an attack by Iran. President Donald Trump said it was not unusual. On the same day, he announced that Israel and Iran had agreed to a ceasefire to end the 12-day war. He said on Tuesday that the ceasefire agreement between the two countries has come into effect. But Iran has rejected the deal. The Foreign Ministry said it would respond immediately if Israel launched an attack.

The country's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, also acknowledged the ceasefire or any such agreement. He has not yet made a statement on the matter.

Britain's former envoy to Syria, Peter Ford, also acknowledged that Israel was suffering from a weapons shortage. He told Russia's Ria Novosti news agency that even if there are some violations of the ceasefire, there is a good chance that it will survive. Because Israel currently does not have the military capability to continue the war and needs peace more than ever.
