The holy month of Shawwal has begun in Saudi Arabia. Eid will be celebrated in the country on Sunday (March 30). This information has been confirmed on Haramain's X account.
The biggest moon-sighting arrangements were made on Saturday (March 29) at the country's two largest observatories, Sudair and Tumair.
The month of Ramadan is 29 days in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, the moon of the month of Shawwal has not been seen in Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim country. Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Monday (March 31). Saturday was the 29th day of Ramadan.
Earlier, Australia became the first country to officially announce the date of Eid. Eid will be celebrated in the country on Monday. The month of Ramadan will be completed in 30 days. Brunei has also announced the date of Eid.
