| Mirza Fakhrul threatens to take to the streets |
Reforms cannot go on indefinitely. Conspiracies are being hatched to deprive people of their voting rights. BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said they will take to the streets again if necessary in the interest of the people.
He made the remarks at an Eid gift distribution ceremony in Badder Beraid on Saturday (March 29).
"BNP is being targeted on social media. Their aim is to create anarchy in the country and postpone the elections. The conspirators also want to create division in the country through wrong interpretations. "We are not against India, Pakistan or America.
At the same time, he remarked that everything should be arranged in a short time and a level playing field should be created for the election.
