Maj. Gen. Mohsen Rezaei, a former commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said Iran's response to last month's Israeli and U.S. aggression demonstrated its ability to challenge Washington and Tel Aviv together.

"In a televised interview, Rezaei said Iran's successful resistance reminded him of the words of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani when he said," "I am the one who can challenge you.

On June 13, Israeli forces launched a series of air strikes on Iran with unprecedented U.S. military and intelligence support. In response, Iran's armed forces quickly launched a counter-offensive.
