31,000 Israeli Buildings Destroyed in Iranian Attacks

31,000 Israeli Buildings Destroyed in Iranian Attacks

Iran's missile and drone attacks in retaliation for Israel's aggression have destroyed or severely damaged at least 31,000 buildings and 4,000 vehicles in the occupied country. Mehr was quoted as saying by the Iranian news website Defa Press on Monday.

"Defa Press said the figures showed that Iranian missiles had caused" "enormous and irreparable damage" "to Israel during the conflict."

Israel launched an offensive against Iran on June 13, launching air and drone strikes on military, nuclear and residential areas of Tehran over a period of 12 days.  The three Iranian nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan were bombed by the United States on June 22.  Iran's military retaliated after Israel's attack.  The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Aerospace Force carried out 22 retaliatory strikes in different parts of Israel as part of Operation 'True Promise III'.  Iran has fired about 450 missiles.  It caused extensive damage to Israeli cities.

With the assistance of US President Donald Trump's mediation, the 12-day conflict between the two nations came to an end on June 24. The fighting stopped under a U.S.-backed ceasefire that took effect on June 24.
