SSC and equivalent exams are going to start today.

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations of 2025 are starting simultaneously across the country from Thursday (April 10). A total of 19,28,181 students will participate in it.

This year's SSC exam will be a full-fledged one. The SSC examination, which will start with the first paper in Bengali, will end on May 13. The practical exams will be held from May 15 to 22. The theory exam will be held from 10 am to 1 pm.
This year, the number of examination centers in 9 education boards is 2,291. Students of 18 thousand 84 schools are participating in the SSC examination this time. The number of examination centres under the Madrasa Education Board is 725 and the number of institutions is 9,063.
Chairman of the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Khandaker Ehsanul Kabir said all preparations have been taken to hold the examinations in a fair, beautiful and duplicate-free environment. Students will have to reach the examination centre 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Education has ordered the closure of all types of coaching centers during the examination. The education board has also asked parents not to crowd in front of the examination centres during this time.
