Eid-ul-Fitr: Passengers return home with relief

People are returning to their homes to celebrate the festival. Many have already left the capital. Some will return to their homes today. This time, a different atmosphere was seen in the bus-train-launch. A lot of people have started the journey.
The images were seen at Kamalapur Railway Station, Sadarghat Launch Terminal and several bus stands in the capital on Saturday (March 29) morning.
Nine intercity trains left Dhaka from 8am to 8am. As all the trains left the station on time, the passengers were not inconvenienced. Those who had booked tickets in advance were relieved to get the reserved seats.

However, as there was no space inside the train, many people climbed on the roof. Three layers of security have been tightened at the gates of the station to handle the extra passenger pressure. A total of 51 trains will depart from Dhaka to different destinations throughout the day.
On the other hand, passengers from the southern part of the country are crowding at the Sadarghat naval terminal area. At the Sadarghat terminal and the pontoon area, there was a huge rush of passengers. The launch owners and workers are satisfied that there are full passengers on the deck and cabin with two days left for Eid.
Launch officials said that the number of passengers returning home by boat on pontoons at the beginning of the day is much higher than the last few days. Chandpur, Barisal, Bhola, Barguna, Hatiya and Patuakhali-bound pontoons saw huge crowds in the morning.
However, the picture is different on the road. Passengers were seen crowding at several bus terminals, including Mohakhali-Gabtoli, in the capital since early morning. Traffic on the road was blocked as a result.
