More than 2,000 senior NASA officials are leaving the agency.

More than 2,000 senior NASA officials have quit their jobs. Many of them were in important roles at NASA. The company's future space missions, especially plans to send humans to the moon and Mars, are going to be a big challenge. "2694 NASA employees have already taken" "early retirement, "resignation incentives" "or" "deferred resignation.Of these, 2145 are senior level officers (GS-13 to GS-15). Reuters.

Experts say many of them were in charge of science research, planning and managing space missions. "With so many experienced people gone, there will be a huge"inexperience"in NASA's operations." This number is expected to rise even further. The layoff process will continue until July 25. According to analysts, these employees were mainly responsible for NASA's mission management, science research and human spaceflight.

A large part of NASA's core technical and management capabilities depended on them. "Such a massive"loss of experience"could put the planning and implementation of future missions to the Moon and Mars in deep crisis."
