Israel denies Iran's attack on military base

For the first time, Israel has admitted that Iranian missiles hit its military installations. An Israeli military official told Reuters that Iranian missile attacks had damaged its military infrastructure.

"The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the Iranian missile hit" "very rarely" "and that the military infrastructure hit was active."

He, however, declined to elaborate on the number of Iranian missiles that hit military installations and the extent of damage.

Earlier on Saturday (July 5), the British newspaper The Telegraph reported, citing satellite images from Oregon State University, that Iranian ballistic missiles hit five Israeli military bases during the 12-day war.
