Hungry men, women and children fight for food in Gaza |
In Gaza, men, women and children are fighting for food. "One after another, Palestinians are killed by Israeli forces as they go to receive aid, shooting them like a" "Russian roulette game.
The question is - what if the ceasefire does not solve the aid crisis in Gaza? The crisis has prompted Hamas to seek changes to a proposed ceasefire to ensure aid access and the closure of the Israeli-US backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) - at whose gates Israel kills people every day waiting for aid.
Since Israel broke the ceasefire in March, Gazans have been living in fear of when the bombardment is less and when the roads are open, including in northern Gaza.
Gaza has become a dark world of hunger, fear and death. People know that they can die if they go to the truck, but they go - because it's better to die fighting than to die of hunger.
Yet, how much suffering and endurance do Gazans have left? When will the world look at the Gazans? When will there be a permanent ceasefire?
