"Fatwa referring to Netanyahu and Trump as "enemies of God"" Iran's top Shiite cleric, Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, has issued a fatwa against US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

 "He called Trump and Netanyahu" "enemies of God."  "" "He said that any person or ruler who threatens the leader or top religious figure of Islam will be considered a" "war-monger" "or a" "person engaged in war against the Creator."  ""

 Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi urged Muslims worldwide to band together in opposition to the two leaders. Because they threatened the leadership of the Islamic Republic.

 "The fatwa said that any person or ruler who threatens the leader or top religious figure of Islam will be considered a" "war-monger" "or" "a person engaged in war against the Creator."  ""

 The fatwa also said that any kind of cooperation or support from Muslims or any Islamic state with these enemies is illegal and prohibited.  All Muslims should repent for the words and deeds of these enemies.

 It also says that, insha Allah, a Muslim who suffers harm or suffering while carrying out his religious duties will receive the reward of a warrior fighting in the Creator's path. Analysts see the recent military tensions between Israel and Iran as the reason behind the fatwa.
