| Over Azerbaijan, Israel shoots down an Iranian drone. |
During the conflict with Israel, the drone flew from Azerbaijan to Iran. After being alerted by Iranian intelligence to the sensitive information, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian called President Ilham Aliyev of Azari.
He demanded that Azerbaijan look into the situation. Whether the Israeli drone truly entered Iran from Azerbaijan should be thoroughly examined, he said.
"We have received information that a small number of drones have entered Iranian territory from the airspace of our neighboring countries," stated Mehdi Sobhani, the Iranian ambassador to Armenia.
" Our president urged the president of Azerbaijan to look into the situation seriously during the teleconference between the two countries. We'll wait to see how this investigation turns out.
