The United States has once again launched a military operation against the Houthis in Yemen. There were 17 air strikes in just a few hours.
The Iranian-backed Houthi group said Tuesday that at least two people were killed and more than a dozen wounded in the attack in the capital, Sanaa.
Several towns in Shadaa province, including al-Salem, al-Sufan and Sahar, were targeted. Houses and vehicles were damaged. More than 500 civilians have been killed in US strikes in the past 10 days.
On Tuesday, the Houthis claimed attacks on US warships and Israeli military bases. A spokesman for the group, Yahya Sarr, said in a statement that the missile was fired at a U.S. warship in the Red Sea. Drone attacks were also carried out on military installations in Tel Aviv.
