Trump to convene Cabinet, expected to speak on trade, ongoing wars, other issues

 

President Donald Trump plans to convene his Cabinet at the White House on Tuesday morning in the presence of reporters. He is expected to speak publicly on an array of issues, including his latest push to impose tariffs on trading partners, passage last week of his massive tax and immigration bill, and wars he is seeking to end in Ukraine and Gaza. This will be Trump’s sixth Cabinet meeting since returning to office. While other presidents have typically kept these meetings private, Trump has turned them into lengthy televised events. He has no other public events scheduled Tuesday.
