Today is the Holy Day of Ashura

 Today is the 10th of Muharram.  It is a sad day for Muslims.  On this day in 61 AH, Imam Husain (RA), the beloved grandson of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), was martyred in Karbala on the banks of the river Furat.  He is Hazrat Ali.  ) He is Hazrat Fatema (ra).  ) Son.

 After the death of Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Muawiyah (Ra. ) be the caliph.  During his lifetime, he chose his son Yazid as his successor.  Imam Hussain refused to take the oath from Yazid.  In protest, he left Medina for Kufa.  He and his companions made a pit stop at Karbala. In an effort to persuade Imam Hossain to surrender, they cut off the camp's water supply. Imam Hossain refused to surrender, despite the fact that the children and women were thirsty. 10 Imam Husain and his 72 companions were martyred in the Assam War against the Muharram siege.  Shimr ibn Ziljushan killed the Prophet's daughter-in-law by shooting her in the throat.

 The day was observed by Muslims with great religious fervor and cheer. The day will be marked with religious fervor as always. The Shias mourn Imam Hussain on this day.  Demonstrations were held in different parts of the country, including the capital Dhaka.

 On the occasion of Ashura, the biggest procession of Dhaka started from Hosseini Dalan in Old Dhaka.  The procession will pass through Lalbagh-Azimpur-New Market-Nilkhet-Science Laboratory and end at the symbolic 'Karbala' on the bank of Dhanmondi Lake.  In anticipation of the rally, the police have enhanced their security measures. During the Holy Ashura, Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus said.  "On this day of Ashura, I pay homage to the greatest prophet and messenger, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).  ) His grandson Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A.)  ) And I pay my deepest respect to all those who tragically died in the wilderness of Karbala.  In the face of the oppressor's injustice, the brave soldiers of Islam made this sacrifice, which will forever be recorded in history. Apart from the tragedy of Karbala, the holy day of Ashura is one of the most auspicious days in the history of Islam.  Many important events, including the creation of the world, took place on this day.  By highlighting the significance of this glorious day, he urged everyone to perform more and more good deeds in order to get closer to the All-Powerful Allah.
