3 Iraqi military bases attacked near Baghdad airport |
Several military bases in Iraq have been attacked. The attacks took place at the Imam Ali, Balad and Taji military bases in the middle of the conflict between Iran and Israel. There were also reports of drone attacks near Baghdad's airport.

Al-Sumaria TV reported that the radar system of the Imam Ali military base in Iraq's Dhi Qar province was attacked. The base is located southwest of the provincial capital Nasiriyah.
It is not yet known who carried out the attack.
The Balad military base in Salahudin province, north of the capital Baghdad, was also hit, the Kurdistan24 channel reported. So far, no casualties or damage have been reported.
Iran's Tasnim news agency said two large explosions were heard inside the base. At the time, it was the second largest U.S. military base in Iraq.
