Shamima Akhter, a woman who came to buy clothes at Bashundhara City Shopping Mall, said that the dress I bought for Tk 10,000 before Eid last year is now being sold at a slightly higher price. In some cases, the price is doubled.
Another customer said that the holy Eid-ul-Fitr is coming again around the year. To share the joy of Eid with everyone, I came to buy new clothes for everyone, including family and work. Have a good Eid with everyone. Traders are demanding more. But I need to buy clothes. So I bought what I could afford.
Customer Sathi said, if there are no new clothes on Eid, it feels bad. So I came to buy new clothes for my parents to enjoy Eid. I want to buy good clothes for my parents. I will buy it at a higher price.

Ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid markets are gathering in Damudya, the traditional market of Shariatpur. People are seen crowding the markets. Shoppers are rushing from one market to another to buy their favorite clothes on Eid. And keeping in mind their demand, the sellers have also decorated the shops with different clothes.


On Saturday afternoon, a visit to the Damudya Munshi Market showed that women shoppers were more than male shoppers, while the sellers of the market were struggling to handle the crowd of women.
After talking to a number of buyers, it is known that in the meantime, shoppers are busy shopping in the Eid market from the middle and middle.
