Microsoft is aiding the genocide in Gaza

United Nations Special Envoy for the Occupied Palestinian Territories Francesca Albanese has listed the organizations that are helping Israel in the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the displacement of Palestinian people. The list includes 48 companies, including US-based technology company Microsoft. The report is due to be presented at a press conference in Geneva on Thursday. Al Jazeera reported.

According to a report by special envoy Francesca Albanese, the list includes Alphabet Inc. (Google's parent company) and Amazon's namesake companies. A database of more than 1,000 corporate entities has been created as part of the investigation. Israel's perpetual occupation has become a testing ground for arms manufacturers and major technology companies. There is demand and supply. But there is a lack of oversight. There's no accountability.

The report also says that these large institutions are no longer only involved in the Israeli occupation, but have become part of the economic structure of the genocide. In 2024, Albanese said in a special opinion that there is a logical basis for Israel's actions in Gaza to reach the level of genocide. According to the report, the investigation is looking into why Israel's genocide continues in Gaza. This massacre has been beneficial for many. Weapons and technology companies were named in the report. Israel is now part of the world's largest arms procurement program. US-based Lockheed Martin is leading Israel's F-35 procurement project. These weapons are manufactured in different countries.

Since the beginning of Israel's indiscriminate attack on Gaza on October 7, 2023, the economic partners have become more deeply involved. The report called on companies to immediately withdraw their investments from activities linked to Israel's illegal occupation.
