Virat Kohli has ended his eight-year-long association with German sports equipment manufacturer Puma. Although Puma was interested, Kohli did not want to renew the contract. Currently, Virat is trying to expand the scope of his lifestyle brand 'One8'. NDTV reports.
The brand wanted to sign another eight-year deal with Virat, which was worth Rs 300 crore, as the previous contract had expired.
Earlier, when Kohli signed the contract with Puma in 2017, it was worth Rs 110 crore. He did not agree to a three-fold increase.
